I have a million cookbooks, and am a food network addict. This is by far the best cookbook. It has pics to go with every recipe as well. There aren’t a huge amount of recipes, but what they have is all delicious. I don’t think theyre extremely FAST to make though. Some still have a lot of prep work. But that’s fine for me…. I make some of these recipes when I have company and it’s always a huge hit! I definitely think everyone should own this cookbook!
I am a working mom and eating well is very hard to do when you have to please the palates of a trucker husband and an 18 month old too. I have made about 50% of the recipes in the book since I have bought it and I have not found one we didnt like yet. They are fast and not short on flavor.
This is one of my favorite books that I have actually used. I have many other cooking books that I have not really used. I scan through them and never really followed a recipe. This book is great. Lots of healthy recipes inside and it has a little bit of everything as far as fish, beef, chicken, etc. What is great about the book too is the nutrition information. Every recipe has its own picture so you know how your dish is supposed to come out. There are also lots of tips and ideas on making and preparing dishes faster and easier. Great book!

Cooking Light Weeknight
Although I love Cooking Light, I thought this was a strange compilation of recipes. I also felt that they weren’t as kid friendly as I had hoped.

Great buy!
When you buy a cookbook, you never know what you’re going to get. Too often I’ve picked one up at the local bookstore, only to get it home and realize that it requires me to go…

Above average
This book has lots of great recipes that are fairly easy to make. Each recipe gives serving ideas as well as what side items can be paired with each dish.
